Nancy O’Donoghue
Nancy O’Donoghue, originally from County Cork, is a creative organiser with a strong passion for film and the arts.
She plays a key role in shaping the vision of the festival, with a focus on creating an engaging and inclusive experience for filmmakers and audiences.

Welcome to the inaugural ‘Tipperary Film Festival’, a celebration of storytelling, creativity, and community spirit. Our festival invites filmmakers of every age and experience level to share their unique perspectives—whether you’re an emerging creator, a seasoned filmmaker or simply deciding to get creative with the video on your smartphone. We believe that remarkable stories live in every corner of our country and beyond and this festival offers a vibrant platform where those stories can truly come alive on screen.
With a rich selection of submission categories including ‘Local History & Heritage’, ‘Horror / Science Fiction’, ‘Comedy’, ‘Documentary’, ‘Drama’, ‘National History & Heritage’, ‘Folklore, Myth and Legend’, ‘Community Voices’, ‘Environmental and Rural Life’, ‘Animation’, ‘Children’s Filmmaker’, ‘Senior Entries’,— we welcome films of all genres, tones, and artistic styles. Each category is designed to celebrate a different strand of creativity, ensuring a diverse and exciting programme for both participants and audiences.
